Phil Lomonico, NJEA Member Benefits Director, shared the contact information from Robert Wasky. Bob offers assistance in selecting the appropriate Medicare Supplement plan for an individual who does not have paid up health insurance through the state. If you need assistance, the message below explains how Bob will help you:
Over the past year I’ve helped a number of NJEA members who won’t qualify for lifetime benefits successfully make the transition to Medicare and select their supplemental medical and prescription Insurance plans. The result:
1. Average premium savings exceeding $3,500 annually.
2. More comprehensive benefits
3. Elimination of out-of-pocket costs
As an independent resource, I work with numerous companies (AARP, Aetna, Cigna, Mutual of Omaha, Trans America, Horizon, Gerber, Humana, ands several others) versus a single insurance company to ensure client choice.
In situations where member is best off remaining on NJEA retirement plan or transitioning to spousal plan, I provide objective recommendation and always act in their best interest.
The foundations of my practice are education and ongoing service year after year. In working with members and speaking to several administrators at the local School Board offices, it’s clear that my services are needed and welcomed.
I’d like to discuss ideas for helping NJEA members who will be retiring this coming June and currently seeking guidance. My services are free to members.
Appreciate your consideration,
Bob Wasky. CLU, MBA
